I find that many of the thyroid cookbooks are American - does anyone know of a UK cookbook they can recommend. Many thanks

Thyroid cookbook
Very good question, hope there is one with standard measuring. Good luck.
I have never heard of a thyroid cookbook. I’ve been hypothyroid 60+ years and never heard of it. I have always eaten a balanced diet and it’s never affected my levels that I am aware of. Been on more diets than I can shake a stick at as a young woman, even 300 cals a day. This despite a degree in food and nutrition. Now I practice what I preached as a teacher and it works. I am also diabetic so do watch carbs. To my knowledge there is so few things we need to worry about it’s easy to avoid them, eg soy, iodine.
I have seen lots of recommendations for autoimmune conditions, so maybe this is what you are after. If so have you tried searching using autoimmune rather than thyroid in the search?
Or am I just missing something in my not quite so quick and slightly more mature little grey cells?
I found Martina Slajerova’s cookbook useful, ‘The New Mediterranean Diet’ written with 3 other knowledgable people. She has other books but this is the one I prefer. It’s not specifically targeted at those with thyroid conditions but Martina has Hashimotos herself, so this is touched on. There is apparently a website and app for extra info, which I haven’t been onto so can’t attest to that. Perhaps you can try those first before deciding about the book. It has not only recipes but elaborates on the relevance of different nutrients. I also have a qualification in nutrition, and thought I had all the knowledge I needed, but this book taught me stuff I never learnt during those studies!
Good luck with your thyroid wellness journey x
