Tsh - 8.09 ( 0.35 - 5.50 )T4 - 10.40 ( 7.86 - 14.41 ) ( my last test was 11.40 )

Now I feel like when I spoke to endocrinologist 6weeks ago he binned me off ...... my doctor seems much more on bored

Reason I come of was side effects I believed was caused by levo ..

One was libido.. which has come back.

.

Second was excessive sweating especially when warm which is just as prevalent ( mentaly this is main reason I've give up )

Fatigue which is still there... as in no desire to work out .

I've tried giving up meds ....

I've give up gluten for a few weeks , same with caffeine... Next step will be alcohol

Doc wants me to call tomorrow....... any advice what I should push?

I need to end this

Any help will be much appreciated

Do you mean that you wish to be well? if that is the case then I suggest that you restart your levo and follow advice given in this group. We are all thyroid patients and many have become well following the advice here that no GP or Endo will give you.

Your results are clearly hypo and will not get better without treatment. The previous results you posted on levo showed you needed more Levo, not to stop it.

Have you made a start yet on raising your vitamin levels as per this reply to your previosu post? healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...

This is a slow to recover from condition and takes much patience!

I was advised by endocrinologist to have a 6 month break ( I do believe I was very badly advised.... I believe ge just binned me off ) I was asking him for help.

Excessive sweating in heat and not having the ability to cool down was the reason to trying this little experiment.

Ive read the advise but I'm so depressed with sweating uncontrollably I was willing to try anything...... I won't go into specific but I was very very low.

Yes , i do want to be well that is why I'm trying every possible avenue so where I can tell endocrinologist I've tried everything.!!

Gp s I have to say have been nothing but supportive and are disgusted with way endo has treated me.

I've not gone down the vitamin route as yet because I wanted a true blood test as of now .

That said I'm now going to order a b complex and vitamin with b12

Hi , last dose was 75mg, my last blood test end of February was..

Tsh - 4.16 [0.35-5.50]

T4 -11.10[7 86-14.41]

At this point your Endo should have increased your dose and not let you stop it. For what reason are you seeing an Endo anyway and why isn't your GP treating you?

Honestly I would just deal with your GP/s and perhaps you have a choice of who to see then and might find one thats more compassionate and caring. This Endo was irresponsible and clearly knows little about how to make a hypo person well. Likely a diabetes specialist. Steer well clear!

So many of us here have been extremely low at some point for varying amounts of time including myself. It's horrible and you just don't know what to do for the best and your Endo has caused you more harm than good which is unforgiveable.

You talk about trying things for a few weeks. Your body will take months to heal, possibly many many months which isn't the best thing to hear but you are here now and getting on the right track.

So start back on the Levo (50mcgs).

Add one vitamin for a few weeks then the next.

We are here for you, just ask what you need to know.

Hi HashiJ❤️

I'm the same (female) I lost my thyroid to graves thyrotoxicosis in 2019 I have colitis and are lactose intolerant, I've never felt right on any thyroid medication I've been put on.. T3, T4, liquid, tablet, capsules, never been offered NDT.. I have bad side effects but stomach /bowle wise, I know it's the thyroid medication because like yourself I came off each one to see if the side effects went.. They did everytime, but having no thyroid I can't be without thyroid hormone 🤦‍♂️ it's the same everytime my bowles/stomach return to normal no inflammation, bloating, diarrhoea, cramping all calm, then I go bk on them and all side effects return, it's a living hell😢 again yesterday had server diarrhoea with really bad cramps, and I know it's nothing I've eaten because I know my triggers and keep well away from that food, so there's only the elephant in the room left... Thyroid medication T3 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️I really don't know where to go now as my gp just doesn't seem to be interested, she did say I could go back to an endocrinologist, just waiting to see if she's referred me yet!! 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️But I always get frustrated with the constant runny stools and pain, and inflammation, I'm due to travel to Liverpool this month to see a parathyroid specialist, I'm dreading the journey as getting to the toilet on certain trains is near hand impossible, and it's a wing and a pray if they are working 😢
