Drugs.com does not find any drug interactions between these two medications. I did not switch to their professional interaction data to read it however. Technically there might be no known drug interaction taking place between these two medications when taking them at the same time. Best practice in my opinion is to let the Synthroid absorb into your system daily by itself without adding any absorption competition.
I have always taken Synthroid by itself, but even doing this my absorption of it decreased over the years. This I believe was because I developed a sensitivity to gluten over time. I had to go gluten free inorder to regain my ability to absorb Synthroid properly. When you are independent you have the luxury of taking your medications separately. Lose your independence and they will probably be thrown altogether for the most part.

Are you aware that Escitalopram can cause changes to thyroid hormones - potentially resulting in subclinical hypothyroidism (e.g. in those who did not already have a thyroid issue).
