TSH does vary depending on time of day taken, also different labs, your general health if you have a virus, a lot of things affect TSH.

You really do need a dose increase. What dose are you currently on?

Recommend full vitamin testing - ferritin, folate, B12 & d3. You can ask your GP to do this or Private tests are available, see link for companies offering private blood tests & discount codes, some offer a blood draw service at an extra cost. thyroiduk.org/help-and-supp...

There is also a new company offering walk in & mail order blood tests in Crawley, Hove and Reigate areas. No charge for blood draw in clinic. Check to see if there is a blood test company near you. onedaytests.com/products/ul...

Thanks for your thoughts . I'd be suprised if there was such a difference in TSH done by different clinic. It's never been that low with M MY Health or NHS.

feel ok on 75 dose of levo.

I have bloods taken at same time each time

I'll look into that new company . Sounds good

So TSH was 5.7 in January 10th ..

and is now 2.9

it's not particularly surprising to get a very different TSH result 5 mths later .. (and in summer as opposed to winter.)

i wouldn't worry about it if you feel well ...... the lower TSH is 'better' anyway .

What is the lab range used for the NHS test ?

had winter and summer tests before so that’s why suprised…

The range for. TSH is p.35. 4.94what are your thoughts on the monitor my health. Results. I’ve forgotten what the correct balance is?

Thanks for response

Well they're a bit old now ... but TSH was indicating a dose increase was needed because it was over range.

Assuming last dose Levo was aprox 24 hrs for that test , then fT4 / fT3 were 'ok' , but some people would need higher %'s than that to feel well. .. and your TSH at the time was indicating your body did want higher T4/T3 levels . Increasing levo dose ought to increase both fT4 and fT3 levels.

FT4: 17.9 (12 - 22) 59 %

FT3: 4.2 (3.1 - 6.8) 29 %

Your current TSH 2.9 is still higher than many people need to feel ok .. so it still indicates that a dose increase may be needed (unless you feel well at the moment)
