So antibody results show no evidence of autoimmune thyroid disease (which doesn't conclusively prove it isn't there ~ occasionally people have been found with autoimmune hypo without ever finding over range antibodies)

TSH is usually lowest around 1-3pm .. so it may have been a bit higher if you'd tested early am , but even then , it's unlikely to have been high enough to be over range /indicating Hypo ,and it's definitely not low enough to indicate Hyper) .

TSH and fT4 and fT3 and total T4 .. none of these show any evidence of high thyroid hormone levels ..... so it's very unlikely that your 'hyper symptoms are due to too much thyroid hormone .

Sorry , i appreciate that's not what you want to hear Applethorpe. but that 's what they show .. (or rather don't show )

I Don't know enough about cortisol to comment on that bit .

many thanks for your reply.

My normal day at the moment is to sleep through the morning and get up early afternoon - so these are results for first thing in ‘ my morning ‘..

Well, it’s a puzzle. I can only keep ruling things out until I find something it is.

I’m so used to normal test results that I don’t feel disappointed.

not sure whether TSH's circadian rhythm actually moves very much even if you change 'your' day / night .. i saw some research done on night shift workers a few weeks ago , .. but iv'e forgotten what it said .lol.. but i vaguely remember that the answer was "it might dampen it down a bit , but not invert it"

You also need vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin levels tested

Did you get these done

What vitamin supplements are you taking

When were vitamin levels last tested

This was my first ever finger prick so I had no idea how much blood it would yield. So I just limited the number of tests to start off with.

Is it possible to comment just on these results ? Are they as they appear, normal ?
