Hello you very intelligent and amazing people. I do hope you are enjoying your week and staying positive.
On a recent Saliva Cortisol test i have found that i have raised Cortisol throughout the day. I am generally a stressed out person, i have had MRI scans of the adrenals, lots of tests to exclude adrenal insufficiency. Tests ruling out Reactive Hypoglycaemia and Diabetes. However i do get adrenaline rushes if i go too long without eating or if i am in a stressful event, which could be linked to the adrenals.
I kindly wondered what steps i can take to ensure this is normal throughout the day please? Is there any supplements i can take to try normalise my Cortisol levels please? Lastly how long should i go on the supplement protocol to try balance my Cortisol levels please? If you kindly had any advice on this i would be forever grateful and thankful, it would mean the world to me.
Thank you very much for your support and as always i wish you all the best and good health everyday. Take care.

Magnesium is good for calming stress and anxiety by blocking stimulating neurotransmitters.
Many members take adaptogens which are herbs/plants that 'adapt' our chemical imbalances back to a normalised response, and they can have a powerful effect in altering the HPA axis.
I like ashwagandha which I find very calming, other good ones are holy basil, rhodiola, panax ginseng, cordyceps and many more. They come as individual supplements or in combos and are often added to teas, etc.
