Hello. My husband was just diagnosed with Covid on Sunday. He is on Paxlovid. Has anyone in the group taken Paxlovid for Covid and if so we’re there any problems with it? I also have multiple sclerosis and another autoimmune disease called Polymyalgia Rheumatica.
Thanks!

No. I have Graves Disease, MS and PMR. I read that Paxlovid could diminish the effects of levothyroxine and also Armour Thyroid. Just want to be prepared in case I get Covid as I had a major exposure right before my husband got sick.
Do you think you could elaborate? Who has the thyroid problem? It would be great if you could fill in your bio in your profile then the lived experience advice would be based on your circumstances. If you are advocating for hubby put that into the bio instead and explain your role. So just keep it anonymous - have a click on my face - you will see what I mean 😊👍
Sorry for being unclear. I have Graves, MS and PMR. I had maximum exposure to my husband right before he started having symptoms. So I am trying to be prepared should I come down with COVID.
I don’t have graves so cannot speak on that, but I would say I have noticed since having my thyroid disorder that I do go down with things harder, heavier and it takes longer to get over, so I think you need to really look after yourself and hopefully someone else will be along soon, who can give more of an insight. I think for many of us with compromised systems, we just have to prioritise self-care over, knocking ourselves out for everybody else.
I used to be the one that just kept going now when things start to hit me there’s no heroics.
