If you look in Pinned Posts, you will see a poll on Covid-19 vaccines.

You can view the comments even if you have not had a vaccine. This has been done in order to collect experiences.

I’m waiting for a legal challenge to companies demanding vaccination as a breach of human rights.

What puzzles me is why if A does not have a vaccine they are a risk to B who does. If B thinks that the vaccine stops them from getting the virus and/or stops them from getting serious illness then A is no risk; the only risk to A is from the virus.

I heard prof Dunn-Walters in radio 4 the other day, not paying total attention, she’s head of Immunology at Surrey University. In her opinion the vaccines offer 46% efficacy and the side effects are unknown as is whether or not it stops people from getting the coronavirus or passing it on.

This is a very personal decision. I think that there should be complete freedom of choice for any vaccination or medical intervention. What I do believe is that one should do some research and make ones own decision. There are various articles in the BMJ about the vaccines and absolute and relative efficacy.

Good luck.

Ponkymay The subject of vaccination is a very emotive one. There is no evidence so far that people with thyroid disorders are at any particular risk from a Covid-19 vaccination. As this is such a new vaccine, only time will tell though.

You can look at the comments on our poll to get some idea of how people who have been vaccinated are or are not being affected. healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...

Everyone here will have their own personal views about vaccinations. To be fair to everyone, we cannot allow general discussion about the pros and cons of vaccination.

For this reason, your post is being closed to further comments.
