Short synacthen test

Hi i have mylagic encephomolitis cfs . Ive improved from very severe bedridden wheelchair bound to mild i now can walk and do most things i need to get done to have a good life . My endo wants a short synacthen test because he thibks i have congential adrenal hyperplasia . Im concerned of the side effects will i have a relapse in the cfs me and wether an alternative test can be down . Anyone have experience with cfs and short syncathen test ? Many thanks

I'm not sure about in relation to CFS but I had that test done last week to rule out any adrenal issues and I didn't notice anything at all. I know the main issue can be in people with severe asthma they are more likely to not tolerate it well but they didn't advise caution for any other conditions.
