Hi i have mylagic encephomolitis cfs . Ive improved from very severe bedridden wheelchair bound to mild i now can walk and do most things i need to get done to have a good life . My endo wants a short synacthen test because he thibks i have congential adrenal hyperplasia . Im concerned of the side effects will i have a relapse in the cfs me and wether an alternative test can be down . Anyone have experience with cfs and short syncathen test ? Many thanks

I'm not sure about in relation to CFS but I had that test done last week to rule out any adrenal issues and I didn't notice anything at all. I know the main issue can be in people with severe asthma they are more likely to not tolerate it well but they didn't advise caution for any other conditions. Sorry that's probably not telling you any more than you already know x
