I think that there could well be problems if no-one wants to take them over in areas where there are few, if any, reasonable alternatives.

And, whilst online pharmacies have their uses, they cannot provide urgently needed medicines.

Or replacements when they stuff up on a fixed brand. At least I can open my prescription up at the counter and hand meds back. Generally problems when new people join pharmacy, working in their own ‘initiative’. I’d be interested to hear others experiences if brand fixed prescriptions through postal pharmacies. 🤔

I do like their walk in services. I have had my blood pressure taken once and also got an emergency prescription to prevent my period on one occasion. The big high street pharmacies Boots, Superdrug are usually swamped where I live, so I was always less inclined to go to them. Whereas the lloyds are usually off the high street in more residential areas.

No - that's sad - we don't have so locally but close enough and often rather good. So much being affect by... so much. :-(

Sadly where I live even 2 branches of Lloyds have closed. The pharmacist in both cases were very professional and the staff always helpful and kind.

The problem so many pharmacies have is that they end up using several pharmacists - some often just doing the odd shift.

However good they are individually, gaps occur. Things get missed.
