could someone give me some help regarding transitioning with Adrenals

I am currently reducing my Nutri Adrenal capsules , to replace them with Nutricology, as Nutri Adrenal have stopped being made.

if anyone has done a similar journey with their adrenal meds, could you please tell me , on what level of the capsules you have done it ? ie:- have you changed by one capsule. at a time, ..1/2 a capsule, or even 1/4 of a capsule at a time.

I am currently transitioning by using a 1/4 capsule at a time and having quite a few side effects, plus getting a bit weak and weary, as it is taking me a while !

I would love to hear your experiences ?!

Thank you .

Hello C70rol :

I used to take Nutri Adrenal and have now switched to Solaray as I had to do this once before when Nutri were having difficulties importing and found this other brand equally supportive.

The capsules of Nutri were I think 100 mg so I have simply swopped to the slightly stronger strength by this other provider.

I have to say the Nutri best before date is this month and believe the effectiveness of these capsules has diminished for me over the past couple of months. and have discarded 2 full tubs.

Hello Pennyannie, Thank you for your reply.

I was taking 500 mg Nutri Adrenal capsules and I’m now switching from N.A to Nutricology. ….I hadn’t heard of Solaray. So I would be interested to know more about it. Ie:- where do you get them from? Plus are they also a natural Adrenal glandular, and did you have any side effects when switching the capsules ?

I am switching to the Nutricology on a low and slow basis as I have a very sensitive system. But I have to say, even then I have wearying side effects. I’m thinking of switching one whole NA capsule with one Nutricology, but a little worried if I will feel worse? …..I have 2 capsules of Nutricology under my belt, so three more to go ! ….I have to say I am very very tired throughout the whole palaver!

I knew about the end date of the NA. But after speaking to Nutri Advanced’s Nutritionist, she assured me that ‘there would not be any weakening of the product for several months yet, so not to be concerned by the end date !

I too noticed the effectiveness of the NA product seemed a bit weaker when they switched from the tablet form to the capsule form.

Thank you for your help and I look forward to any extra advice you may be able to help me with

There are several brands available on Amazon - and I had purchased these before and wasn't aware of there being much difference from the Nutri brand.

Just go low and slow - that's all you can do - hope you soon find yourself a bit stronger :

Well these a raw gland concentrate and freeze dried to retain enzyme activity, concentrated and defatted and toxin free and of a very similar description to those I was previously taking.

Must be I'm a rubbish searcher! 🙄 I couldn't find any when I was looking to buy a few weeks ago? Which ones do you use?

Ah, sorry that'll be why I needed cortex only

They don't tend to give you the breakdown of medulla to cortex do they... I see this one has licorice root which I thought isn't recommended long term or maybe it was and interaction thing?
