I have been trialling T3 for the last 6 weeks, taking 2 x 5mcg Roma Capsules.
As of today I have switched to Thybon-Henning. My consultant said the manufacturer makes no difference but I thought I'd have a go anyway. SlowDragon had said some people respond differently on it.
Well, early days, I'm only one day in obviously but the experience is stunningly different. With Roma I had brain fog/headache within an hour of taking it, there would be a good period between 2-4 hours after taking it and then soon after I would crash. I was dead wood in the evenings.
I've been buzzing all day. For the first time in a very long time I'm not crashed by 6pm. I was pressing for an increase in Roma but now I wouldn't be surprised if I suggest a decrease.
I know, I know early days. But the difference is remarkable.

I’ve tried a few brands of liothyronine. I much prefer Thybon Henning. I get 20mcg size and cut into quarters. I take 5mcg twice a day 8hrs apart. I’ve never had any issues with Thybon as long as I stick to my regimen of 5mcg twice a day. My bloods are always good with a TSH around 1.00. T3 level is around midway. I’m on levothyroxine also and my T4 l bloods are also normally midway. Most importantly I generally feel energised, joyful and healthy. I lost 4st quite quickly. I found I was passing water more often on Thybon. No water retention.
Just a line to say, I only started T3 a few weeks ago - as started on Sigma and really heartbroken, it hardly seemed to have any life at all. Swapped over this week onto the Thybon and instantly found it is much stronger, completely different for me, too.
