I've been planning this for ages but wonder if my brain ever engaged at all.
My test is 9am tomorrow morning.
My current dosing protocol is T4 at 11.30pm bedtime. First dose T3 at 4am(ish). Second dose T3 at 1pm. I sleep so deeply after the morning t3 dose and wake up feeling amazing. The second dose of T3 doesn't feel enough and I'm hoping he will up it to three doses a day. Of course I want my tests to support this proposal.
For the test I planned to take second dose T3 at 11pm (10 hrs later than usual) so as to leave 9 hrs before test. But if I don't take T4 this evening it will be a gap of 34 hr gap not 24. So perhaps I should have taken another dose this morning, 12 hours after last nights dose, to create a 24 hr gap even if the doses were rather close together. If I take it now it will be 19 hrs before test. Perhaps that is best. Better than a 34 hr gap....

ah well, need not have worried. The GP commissioned test didn't include T4 anyway, it was only T3, TSH and cortisol. Bit strange. I'm going to try to fit in a medichecks test before seeing my consultant next week and I'll get my timings right this time. 9 hrs for T3 and 24 for T4.
If you normally take levothyroxine at bedtime/in night ...adjust timings as follows prior to blood test
If testing Monday morning, delay Saturday evening dose levothyroxine until Sunday morning. Delay Sunday evening dose levothyroxine until after blood test on Monday morning. Take Monday evening dose levothyroxine as per normal
