hi all
I am on 100mg of t4 and 25mg of t3. My TSH is suppressed but ft4 is at the low end of the range. Would I need to reduce the T3 dose or t4 please?

We can't answer that without actual results.Do you have TSH, T4, and T3 results you can share?

How do you feel? Do you feel well on those doses?

What do you want to achieve?
Taking T3 is going to lower and probably suppress TSH and it tends to lower FT4 as well. Where you need your FT4 and FT3 whilst on combo hormone replacement is individual to you. Some people are fine with low FT4 as long as FT3 is in the upper part of it's range, some need both fairly well balanced, so as well as seeing your results, including their reference ranges, we need to know how you feel.
I'm six weeks post partum - other than sleepiness I feel well but I'm retaining water (could be hormones) and my resting heart rate is very low. I don't have the results unfortunately

It's impossible to comment without them, if you want further help perhaps ask for the results/ranges (we need reference ranges as these vary from lab to lab).
They all sound like symptoms of undermedication rather than over. As SeasideSusie says, it's impossible to say either way without results.
Congrats on your baby!
And essential to test vitamin D, folate, B12 and full iron panel test for anaemia including ferritin levels if you lost a lot of blood giving birth
Test thyroid levels early morning and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
Do you normally split your T3 as 2 or 3 smaller doses spread through the day
Even if you don’t do this normally, do so day before test ….last dose T3 approx 8-12 hours before test
What vitamin supplements are you currently taking
cheapest option for just TSH, FT4 and FT3

Only do private testing early Monday or Tuesday morning.
Watch out for postal strikes, probably want to pay for guaranteed 24 hours delivery
A low t4 and tsh is often found when on t3 therapy and it not a reason in itself to reduce your medication. More importantly is how you feel re any hypo or hyper symptoms and I would suggest this would determine any possible change in dose. As others have said a more complete picture of blood work would greatly assist in determining the way forward.
Best wishes
thanks everyone. All my vitamins etc were monitored in pregnancy but I've not had them checked since giving birth. I'll arrange for a private test to get a clearer picture
