What brand is the closest to Accord as I may have to change?

Also, are they readily available?

I take 75/100 at present and halve tablet to stay with one make of tablef as 25 mcg not made by this manufacturer.

I am aware of who Accord supply to.

Thank you.

If you want Accord it's repackaged as Almus for Boots and Northstar for Lloyds Pharmacy in 50mcg and 100mcg size tablets.

Thank you for your helpful response but I wanted to know of a similar brand to Accord as I may have to change. Not sure if you know of any?

You can't easily compare brands. People react differently to them. You have to try different brands to see what suits you.

Many of us have to split 50mcgs to get 25mcgs and keep with a brand that works for you. There is not a big choice of 25mcg tablets.

helvella has a chart with the different levothyroxine brands and their fillers. Perhaps do a search for it? or maybe, if we're lucky, he'll be along :-) I'm sorry I can't do a link for you.

Thank you, helvella. Didn't think of that :-) ..... tech is not my forte. Grateful you "popped in".

The problem we have in making suggestions is that in many cases we have no idea why one make is preferable to another.

It's all very well looking through lists of ingredients but, unless you know you cannot tolerate a specific ingredient such as acacia, mannitol, lactose or whatever, that doesn't get us very far.
