I would like to hear about your experiences of using hydrocortisone at very low doses, as suggested by Dr Peatfield, to pep up adrenal function, with the goal of eventually weaning off it if suitable to do so.
What dose did you use, for how long, and did it help you, particularly in relation to symptoms of fatigue and hypoglycemia like symptoms?

With respect, I had a brief look at your previous posts and your FT3 is rock bottom. T3 is the active hormone that gives us energy amongst many other things and without it no amount of propping up adrenals will work. You are clearly a poor converter, have you thought about the addition of some T3 to your Levo?

My T3 is currently low because my iron is low. Previously my T3 was at the top quarter range when my iron levels were also better. All the other nutrients are at good levels at the moment, so it's safe to assume iron is the missing piece. But even when my T3 was good, I had delayed fatigue, hypoglycemia symptoms (not actual hypoglycemia, as my blood sugar is normal when I check). After reading Dr P's book, it seems my adrenals need some support - I like his approach of supporting all the glands, especially the adrenals, so it would be great to hear about others who've tried this approach.

Have you low range cortisol confirmed by a saliva test?
Does Dr P advise hydrocortisone tablets?
Are you in the UK and if so, will a GP prescribe these?
