I have been taking 2 grains of Thyroid S.
I saw a new Endo today, who has given me a trial of T3. He has prescribed 75 Levo and 15 T3. Does that sound about the right ratio ?

Have a look at the reply I posted earlier, here:

"Standard" T4:T3 ratio in porcine desiccated thyroid is around 4.2:1.
Your dose is 5:1 which isn't very much different. But it is always difficult to know when changing between desiccated thyroid and levothyroxine/liothyronine. Simple arithmetic doesn't always get it spot on.
Thank you.
Guess only time will tell how my body will cope with the synthetics.
I report back to him 6 weeks after starting. However the pharmacy had no 5 only the 10 T3 and as they are capsules I cannot split. I have to wait for the 5 capsules.
