Made the leap back to Levo and T3 very recently not being able to afford to keep going with Armour.
I managed to find T3 abroad but only in 25mg which I am cutting to dose 3 times a day but is it normal to experience bad side effects swapping.. very cold again, nausea, and after about 4 hours felt completely exhausted. Thank you in advance.
Sounds like a possible dose equivalence issue? I'm not experienced with Armour particularly but how did you arrive at your new dose?
I was told to return to my original Levo does of 125mg plus 5 mg three times a day . Thank you
If the switch was fairly recent then it might just be your bodies way of letting you know it doesn't like sudden change? I'm guessing you're taking more T4 now, not sure about the T3 difference on your Armour dose to T4+T3 but dose changes are usually small and gradual and slow. Making a switch like that can be a big thing for the body. Best thing you can do is ride it out and get bloods done in 6 weeks to see where you are.
how much Armour were you taking? How are you getting on cutting 25mcg T3 into 5 equal pieces?
I was on 1·5 grains am and 1.5 pm. I am trying to cut the 25mg T 3 into 4 because 5 is just impossible ! Thanks
