Does anyone know the cheapest/most effective place presently to get a full thyroid panel and vitamin test done next week? I like the look of the Medicheck one. And is there a code for Thyroid UK users to get a discount...?
Many thanks

I agree with your analysis Slow Dragon. Thank you very much for the info about the various companies. Probably IS best to wait til next year and go full private when (hopefully) there's a bit more certainty. Even if it costs me maximum.
You could buy the kit ahead of needing it
You get about 3 months to use by….check the date when it arrives
Presumably you’re thinking of vaccutainer kit

If you want thyroid antibodies included then Medichecks.
If you don't need thyroid antibodies but everything else then Monitor My Health's new test I mentioned in reply to your previous post (but you have missed the 20% off now):

Thanks SS, I've delayed on getting the discount because I've been trying to figure out whether more strike days might be announced. Whether with rail or nurses. As SlowDragon suggests, any Tuesday tests next week might well not make it in the post. Think I've decided it's too risky to even try next week because I want a full panel which is expensive and may well fall through the cracks this side of Christmas and therefore be a total waste.
I was hoping my NHS phlebotomist might be kind enough to give me some of the blood she extracts then but it's all a bit uncertain so I guess I'll just have to suck it up and go full private next month and pay extra for the blood draw too. It's such a lottery what the NHS in any given area will do. Talking to a friend yesterday she gets a full panel EVERY TIME she's tested. And I've never had one in over 18 months
