Hi All, I first posted on the forum 16 days ago. In that time I have been waiting for my GP/and an endocrinologist to make a decision about the Dio2 result from regenerous labs showing CC result for polymorphism and code rs 225014. The outcome was that I have just been told that this result is not accepted, they doubt the labs ability and refuse point blank to consider any trial on medication. I could however have a blood test on NHS so they can tell me for the upteenth time I am in the normal range.
Looks like it's private route or try and obtain some armour thyroid from outside UK to self medicate to see how I get on.
I'd appreciate any advice on these two options.
Many thanks and regards to you all.

As we can't discuss individual doctors on the forum, nor can we discuss where to source UK prescription only items without prescription, if anyone can help they will send you information in a private message.
You can also send for the list of thyroid friendly endos (both private and NHS) from ThyroidUK by emailing
tukadmin@thyroiduk.org
The ThyroidUK list is just that, a list of names given by members, they are not recommendations from ThyroidUK. Please do your own research on any doctor that you are considering to ensure you consider them to be the right one for you.
I will turn off replies to this post so that no information is inadvertently posted here.
