Hi not sure if this is common knowledge on here - I did read a while back there were shortages but not sure if it was known that TEVA had lost their licence for 100 mcg tablets and then the MHRA advised the medical profession in the interim to prescribe liquid levothyroxine for those who are sensitive to changes of supplier. I now cannot get the liquid anywhere which is a disaster as I am lactose intolerant and this would be sugar free for diabetics too.
I am now contacting my GP pharmacy to let them know as TEVA website states to contact GP if you have supply problems and I have also put a call into my local MP to get these shortages of such an important drug sorted out - when the MHRA advised liquid was prescribed then the powers that be should have ensured there was an uptake in the liquid product.
Any ideas?
Tx

OK sorry.............I realised that just after sending - didn't notice at the time - perhaps because I am so upset I am having a problem getting my meds again .
