exercise, hypo and goal setting

I am not an exercise expert, much less a PT etc, but I am a strong believer in the benefits of exercise in managing hypo symptoms.

I had great success with a PT over the last 18 months and recovered from running injuries and felt no real need to continue.

But without a next clear set of goals have drifted a bit and really only walked and not done anything that strenuous.

I completed a 10km row this morning and some weights work to get started again over the winter months.

This time around I simply want to establish and maintain a good posture and some improved back flexibility.

So in a very long winded way I find it essential to have some sort of goal to achieve from doing exercise to motivate me to doing it regularly.

Interested to know how others have managed to restart after a pause on their training plans ...

Tabata! Look in the App Store on your mobile phone.

Write your own exercise plan (when you're feeling full of energy) , choose your own reps, cycles, music, how much encouragement you need, ie 'half way and you're doing great!', etc ... and what sex/accent makes you work even harder 🤣. Also, just browsing YouTube as there are so many free workouts.

I myself belong to a local council run gym with a great variety of classes, and where I seem to be a permanent resident 😬
