Thank you for the advice folks, sent my latest Medichecks results to GP via an online form. Had a txt message to say prescription increase to 100mcg would be waiting for me at Asda pharmacy. Just picked it up, pharmacist apologetic is Accord containing lactose they have stock problems, he said use up own stocks of Teva 25mcg first on increased dose then switch and see if any effects. He says some people prefer Accord even with small amounts of lactose over Teva. 🤷🏽♀️
Also managed to get face to face appointment, first since 2019. Saw the original GP that realised it wasn’t menopause and sent me for blood tests. Sending me for ultrasound scan to see status of thyroid as sore throat and swelling in clavicle pits.
Any thoughts on Accord and how to increase dose and switch?

just checked my stocks, I have enough 25mcg Teva for 13 days at 100mcg, if I alternate 75/100 for 4 days I can make it 14 days. Is that enough to settle on 100mcg then try the switch to Accord?
I've sometimes suggested people change to a new medicine sooner rather than later.
If you try B while you still have some A, then if B is a bad failure, you still have the opportunity to switch back to A. (And then sort out what you are going to do to avoid B in future!)
I do realise that your question is a bit more complex than a straight swap of makes. However, I thought it worth saying something!
I’ve got to say thank you 🙏 for your advice helvella and your fantastic medication Dropbox document. Today I’ll be explaining how Accord 100mcg triggers a lactose & maize starch gastro reaction (was clear within 1 hour but I’ve given it four split doses to be sure) and asking the GP to re-prescribe with a lactose free version (Teva or Aristo), meanwhile back to my stocks of 25mcg tonight while I wait. This was definitely the better approach despite having to endure 2 days of burpy, farty, sore mouth nonsense 🦋💚🦋
