Can’t recall how this works, but if someone was fed up with doctors and wanted to source their own Synthroid, how would they do that? Asking for a friend 🫤

Before considering adding T3 it’s important to get full thyroid and vitamin testing
For good conversion of Ft4 to Ft3 we need optimal vitamin levels
Testing TSH, Ft4 and Ft3
Test early morning and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
When on T3 half or third daily dose T3 approx 8-12 hours before test
High thyroid antibodies confirms autoimmune thyroid disease
Often gluten free diet and/or dairy free diet helps or essential
Test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
Come back with new post once your friend gets results
