just read here that this fruit is high in biotin. It’s the only fruit in its natural state I enjoy. I eat 2 per day every day and have done all my life. Am I getting a level of biotin which means I should leave off them before a test?

Going Bananas!
Loafinabout
I hadn't heard this (and I have one banana most days) so Iooked it up and quicky found that it's a very small amount
One small banana (105 grams) also provides approximately 0.2 mcg of biotin, or 1% of the DV
So I don't think there's any need to worry
I have seen it expressly stated that dietary biotin intake will never be a problem for lab tests.
It is only high to very high to extremely high that affect tests. And it was due to the use of such doses, often in trials, that the issue with labs was identified.
Yes, 5-10mg (and I assume that to be suppemental) seems to be the sort of dose where it's recommended to leave off for a week.
I am also going Bananas about them too. My father was a greengrocer and wholesaler and imported them green and then ripened them too. Sometimes beetles and the occasional spider would appear. I eat one every day, also nuts.
