Who has a good price for Thybon Henning T3 in the UK at present?

I have used Roseway Labs before, but last time they were charging more per tablet than another online pharmacy. I ordered from the new supplier. But I can't remember who they were!

Anyone have a tried and tested supplier in the UK for me to get a quote from?

Roseway are currently £60 for 100 tablets. This is a little higher than another pharmacy I used a year ago but the situation has changed. Previously there was no lactose free liothyronine in the UK so they could subsitute Thybon Henning if a prescription stated lactose free, a bit of a fiddle. Now the prescription must specify 'Thybon Henning' and they have to special order it from Germany, they can't just order stocks. I believe this is why the price has gone up.

Thanks. I found Chemist4U has 20mcg tablets for 50p. That is where I got it from last time I think, because Roseway were 60p and wouldn't give me the full prescriptions worth.

Neither of them have 5mcg tablets, which I hoped to pick up a supply of to cut into 2.5 portions.

I don't think Thybon do 5 mcg.

That's probably why they don't have it then. I've asked for a new prescription stating SigmaPharma and then, and only then, can I send a photo of it to Roseway for a price. So annoying that you can't get a price to make shopping around easier.

I should have added that Roseway Labs do have Sigma Pharma 5mcg T3. But my prescription would need to be changed and they won't give me a tablet price until I have the right prescription. What a faff.

The name of the pharmacy you last used should be on the container or box they supplied your tablets in.

You are right. It most probably is. I will check, but I'm pretty sure now that it was Chemist4U.

Roseway are 60p a tablet. Chemist4U currently 50p a tablet. And it's been like this for a good 6 months if not longer.

We can only buy from these suppliers if we have a private prescription.

I tried the pharmacist in a private hospital I had been to before - where I’d seen my endo - and their prices were way, way higher.

Am surprised the competition / other pricing authority doesn’t have words with them about it.
