Just had a consultation with The Thyroid Clinic and am now finally going to get medicated. I was going to say “you can’t imagine the relief “ but most of you will 🥰.

The doctor was incredibly helpful and understanding and even though my levels are within range (only just) she very definitely said I needed medication with my symptoms.

As my TSH is always relatively low my GPs categorically refused to help even though my T3 & T4 were on the low side.

I feel like a weight has be lifted from my shoulders and after a good cry felt even better.

Thank you so much for all your help, without you kind people I’d have gone on feeling unwell and not listened to. The experience and information from this site has been absolutely brilliant. Thank you, thank you, thank you 🥰🥰🥰

It is. I was very impressed by her although I got the outcome I was hoping for. I haven’t been that relived since I popped out my 10lb 7oz baby

Thank you. Thyroxine 50 mcg and see her again in 8 weeks. Also tests - cortisol, women’s hormones and TSH, T3 and T4. So fingers crossed it helps xx

Thank you. It was such a relief, I’d wound myself up for another negative outcome and when she said I needed medication I burst into tears. Onwards and upwards. Xx
