good morning all you lovely helpful peeps on here.after nearly 16years on levothrovoxin I have found out the past week when to take other meds.i am now taking my others at lunch time and cutting down on the omprazol, ( having stomach aches at the moment)it might be a coincidence I will keep you posted I have blood tests due oct ,thank you to everyone who takes the time to reply.takecare and try and keep healthy

Hi, reducing omoprazol needs to be done slowly if you have been on it for a while. "Acid bounce" can occur and pain is the result. A strategy that worked for me was to stop the omoprazol one day a week and see how you get on, if everything is OK wait another week then stop it two days a week, carry on like this till you are completely off it. Hope it helps.

It does take us a little while to come to terms with hypothyroidism but being on the forum enables us to get hints/help from other members who've had similar problems.

I hope you improve your health quickly.

Hi I have been for 15years now and no wiser ad greybeard said about omprazol I am trying to reduce it but to see if that helps but hey ho no luck I feel grap plus my age is not good 😐
