Definitely! I don’t know if it’s a coincidence, also having period but ran for a train yesterday (less than 100 yards) and needed a nap today, total functioning zombie after 1.30pm. Been reading about adrenal insufficiency, not sure if I should wait for Levo dose to stabilise (early in my journey) or address that in parallel…. So much to learn, for now, naps after work will have to suffice! I hope you are able recharge your batteries x
It's always hard to pick apart, isn't it? I've just come out of a very stressful situation which won't fully resolve for another couple of weeks but the bulk of the stress has gone.
So perhaps I'm symptomatic because of that.
It feels more likely to be the weather though because my symptoms are fluctuating depending on how high the temperatures get!
I also need to test cortisol but we're a bit skint at the moment! I'm a but further down the line from you but I'm still not where I'd like to be with my dose yet.
Sorry to hear you have had a stressful time, I’ve noticed I get a dip for a couple of days after stressful situations (job interview etc) when I’ve been running on adrenaline. I think you are on to something. Hope it’s cooler where you are today xx
I feel like my fingers and ankles get a bit swollen, although they don't look it. It always seems to happen in the heat. Legs definitely feel heavier. It's not too bad at the moment - I am currently on crutches so I'm spending quite a bit of time with my leg raised - I'm lucky that I can.
I have been keeping water in the fridge and I carry an insulated bottle around with me that I sip - I think that helps me.
I've never been one to sit in the sun anyway, but I do keep out of it if I can.
I walked with my dog for 30 min at 8am today and it was already too hot for me. Once I got home was extremely drowsy and fatigued. My thyroid hormone is still low so my body feels quite heavy but I haven't had shortness of breath in a long time. It used to be a symptom of mine but I've been taking iron supplements and it seemed to help. My heat intolerance worsens if my blood pressure and heart rate go up. This seems to happen when I increase my Levo too quickly or if it's too much. The heat this year is unbearable.
