Finally, I have been prescribed T3 along with the T4 I was already taking. Dose is 5 mcg T3 in the morning and 5 mcg in the evening. Is it ok to take my morning T3 at the same time as my dose of T4? As this is a two month trial I want to make sure I get it right from the start. Thank you to anyone who can advise.
As a postcript- I don’t know what I would do without this forum. I don’t think I’d have had the nerve or the correct info to push my Endo to prescribe T3.

Yes, I and many others do. It's not a problem.
Dose is 5 mcg T3 in the morning and 5 mcg in the evening.
Doctors tend to dive straight in but it's not recommended to start on 10mcg. Best advice here is to start with 5mcg daily (split into two doses if that's possible) and see how you go for a couple of weeks. If all OK you can then add the second 5mcg.
Has your Levo dose been reduced? I see from your previous post that it was over range so that's an indication that a reduction in Levo is recommended. If so then reduce Levo first, wait a week before adding the T3.
Hi. Thank you for your speedy and informative reply. My Levo has been reduced to 50 mcg per day. My Endo has prescribed a 10 mcg tablet daily - cut in half - one dose in the morning, one in the evening. I’m having a blood test in 2 months but if I feel over medicated I’ll e mail him and ask him to reduce the dose. I’m really hoping the T3 will do it’s thing and get me back to feeling normal again.
