I’m ordering the advanced thyroid test and it gives you an option to include doctors comments or not. What is the general recommendation? I’m worried if it includes doctors comments that it will go against what I know makes me feel better I.e. it will probably say my T4 is too high but I need it high to feel well so I can convert enough T3…….Any advice as I’d like to share the results with my GP. Also, someone on here a few years ago (3 years ish) really helped me by posting a link to some research which explained some people need high T4 levels to be able to convert to T3. I can convert my own T3 but I do need a good T4 level to be able to do this. I’m only talking 125-150mcg Levothyroxine but my bloods to the untrained eye will suggest I need to reduce my Levo which is absolutely the worst thing for me!

No, these comments are not worth having - and asking for them will delay getting your results. These doctors are not thyroid experts, they toe the NHS line of mainly looking at the TSH. They don't really understand how to interpret the results, anymore than your average GP. Not worth bothering with.
In my experience doctor comments have duplicated what I would expect from the NHS. Since the NHS has not been kind to me with respect to my thyroid or my nutrients I don't bother with them, and haven't done for years.
Hi TiredMummy, I recently had a Medichecks Thyroid test with Doctors comments ..... and they were not helpful. As greygoose says its no better than an unhelpful GP. You will get much better advice from the forum.
