Accord Levo, Supply Issues.

Hi

Has anyone else experienced any recent issues getting hold of Accord Levo? On Friday my normally excellent independent pharmacy couldn't supply me with any Accord Levo 50mcg. I have this as a named brand due to allergies. I got the script back as they didn't have my HRT in either 😪 and went elsewhere.

But the other pharmacy I tried only had two boxes in, until the pharmacist found a tub of loose tablets out back so she made that up for me. I did ask my pharmacy for the reason why but they just cited supply chain issues.

I picked up my usual 4 weekly prescription yesterday - Accord - 1 box of 100mcg and 1 box of 50mcg. Named brand for me, never had a problem.

I collected my Accord-manufactured levo last week. The only change was that my levo is dispensed by Boots, and Accord supply them under the Almus branding, but this time my box has the Accord branding. Maybe this signifies some sort of supply problem?

I think there is a supply chain issue with lots of things unfortunately, what with various things going in the world atm 😔.

I have Levothyroxine oral solution by Teva (it seems to suit me better than others) and I had to wait a couple of days for mine. I did have some left fortunately.
