I have been on Actavis for years. Just went to the pharmacy and they gave me accord (package looks exactly the same as Actavis, just named accord.) Did Accord take over? Will the potency be the same?
Brand switching has caused me huge fluctuations in my thyroid levels in the past, hence sticking to actavis. I'm really worried.
Thanks.

Accord Healthcare, a UK subsidiary of the Indian Intas company, acquired the UK generics division of Actavis in 2017.
Around April 2020, Accord rebranded the former Actavis product as Accord.
Some members have said they think that the product is different but others, including me, noticed absolutely no change. Accord say there was no change made.
My thyroid medicines document might be of some use:
that is so interesting. I was on Actavis for years before it was withdrawn and I am concerned about the effect it might be having. So useful lto know Accord is the same.
