Advice needed

My current dose is 25 mcg T3 and 75 mcg Eltroxin.

I started taking T3 on 14th Feb and worked my way up every two weeks.

After a bit, my voice came back - which was amazing! But now it’s going again.

Does this mean I’m on too much or not enough?

I’ll be having my six week blood test after my last increase on 9th May.

I’d be very grateful for any thoughts.

Probably no one can advise until you have test results back

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking

When were vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 last tested

Remember to stop taking any supplements that contain biotin a week before blood test

Are you testing vitamin levels at next test

All thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally before 9am last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

On T3 or NDT - day before test split daily dose into 3 smaller doses, spread through the day at approx 8 hour intervals, taking last 1/3rd of daily dose 8-12 hours before test

I have finally found your reply. I knew I had a reply but couldn’t find it. I have been looking for it but didn’t know how to find it. This evening I thought I’d post and ask and now I have found it. Thank you for replying. I guess it’s something that I have to wait for the result to know.

My blood test is tomorrow at 8.10am.

I’m not having any vitamins done. The GP is doing the blood test, and they won’t do the vitamins.

I told my GP I am taking T3. Thankfully she didn’t ask where I get it from! But she wrote T3 on the form so hopefully they’ll do it.

I’ll come back with the results.

I was thinking I’d do that. I’ll ask GP first if they will do it. Hopefully the results will come on Monday.
