Blood test and Levo

If you take your Levo dose then have bloods an hour later would it record a higher TSH than if I’d remembered to skip that dose?

TSH wouldn’t alter, but it would show false high Ft4 result (assuming Ft4 is tested)

Recommended to test early morning, ideally before 9am and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

This gives highest TSH and lowest Ft4

Remember to stop taking any supplements that contain biotin a week before all blood tests as biotin can falsely affect test results
