Levo and arthritis

Hi all. I am on100mcg of levo from doctor and self medicate another 50mcg and never felt better apart from ive had arthritis appear in my thumbs and wrists! Could it mean i am over medicated?frightened to lower dose as dont want to feel ill again. Any thoughts appreciated.

You mentioned your arthritis in this post from last November and you weren't overmedicated then.

Developing arthritis can be part of the aging process.

I have arthritis in my fingers/base of thumb which started a few years ago. I've been on Levo for about 47 years and many times in the past have had way over range FT4 before I added T3, but I don't believe mine is due to overmedication, it's due to age.
