Looking at your previous posts, your most recent blood test after stopping T3 show:
T4 1. 23 (0.82-1.77)
TSH 2.27 (0.45- 4.50)
T3 82 (71-180)
I’m unsure what your endo is referring to when saying that blood tests are ‘better’ without taking T3. If you usually take T3 in one dose, it is advisable to split your T3 dose throughout the day before your blood test.
You are only on a low dose of Levothyroxine and would benefit from increasing this dose if Liothyronine gives you palpitations, as your T3 level is very low in the range.
Have you had your antibodies checked? Do you have Hashimotos? What are your key vitamin levels (folate, ferritin, B12 and Vit D)?
Just checking how long you took T3 for before stopping? I get palpitations when I add (or reduce) thyroid medication too quickly. I need to adjust very slowly and in small amounts.
I took T3 for s long time before I stopped. I always had problem losing even one pound but lately I am down to 105 pounds from 110. It feels good to loose extra. Yes I have Hashimoto.
T3 was already low- 5 mcg,
I will have ferritin and vitamins test done in 6 weeks, will post the results,
