Missing part of my blood results found

Hope this is ok to put a separate post following from my last one.

Thanks everyone who helped so quickly with replies. I will answer later.

I rang surgery and they found an extra page with more thyroid results, I just drove over to pick up.

I’m hoping this is enough now for my appointment next week. There’s only 1 of the antibody tests I think - is that enough?

I should have had this blood test a few days earlier but the nurse was off sick hence timing slightly tight. Ok now I hope. If not I’ll order private test first thing tomorrow and postpone Endo . 🙏🏽

Thats good news! No point to having an antibodies test. Antibodies fluctuate. The tests are only useful for diagnosis and you already know you have hashis.Remind me of how much levo and lio you take please for those results and what gap you left between last doses and test.

Thanks Lalatoot.

I originally started T3 Lio on 24 November 21 - @ 5 mcg. a day.

Stayed on that for 3 weeks then added another 5mcg.

After 2 weeks felt it was a bit much so went back to 5mcg a day.

Levo dose was 75 mcg.

Took bloods after 6 weeks on 75 mcg Levo

& 5 mcg T3.

B/t was 24 hours after last Levo & 2.5 T3.

Took other half ,2.5 of T3 at bedtime, 10 hours before test.

Nothing to eat or drink before.

I stopped my B Complex 10 days before test.

How do you feel…..

On plus side TSH is not suppressed so this will keep your endocrinologist happy

FT4: 17.7 pmol/l (Range 10 - 20) 77.00%

FT3: 4.7 pmol/l (Range 3.5 - 6.5) 40.00%

FT3 has plenty of room for dose increase in T3 ….if you want to retry increase

Good to see the percentages, thanks SlowDragon

I feel more alert and can absorb information more. Still have to take it easy and spend a lot of time alone (which luckily I mostly like).

There is more energy now and my glands don’t come up as much.

I always slept well but used to wake for the day so early, 4ish…..and was beside myself wanting bedtime from late afternoon but dragged it out till 10.

Since T3 I’m not falling asleep or tired in the afternoon . I sleep well and now wake up a bit later 6ish which is great.

I do feel a slight tightness in centre of chest and breathing is a bit tight when I go for a walk. This tightness increased after a couple of weeks when I upped T3 to 10 mcgs.

Im seeing the private Endo in person next week so I’ll describe//show him re the breathing.

I did have this breathing issue when walking in March 2020 They did x-ray, echocardiogram….all clear. One doctor said it could be linked to thyroid., another gave me an inhaler for a couple of months which did help.

It has improved and not been an issue for over a year til slightly back now when I go for a walk. The tight feeling behind sternum is new since T3.

Good to know I can see Endo 😊

Breathlessness and tight chest can be linked to low iron/ferritin

Improving ferritin levels might improve this

Which T3 brand have you got

I didn’t think of that. I’ll work at getting levels optimum and monitor how I am . Hope it’s that.

I take Liothyronine Sodium - Morningside

You can use these results with the endo. If you are still having symptoms, there is room or an increase in either levo or lio. I would go with a 5mcg increase in lio, personally.
