Hi, strumbled across Wilson’s Temperature Syndrome info along with a lot of info using T3 to increase temperature/metabolic rate as well as helping chronic fatigue etc. It involves cycling T3 for a period of time to eventually wean off the T3.
Has anyone tried this? Good and bad stories please!
Thanks

I've not tried it. I read about it many years ago and in my view it is a dangerous procedure. Wilson was stuck off after one of his patients died. The term 'Wilson’s Temperature Syndrome' was coined by Wilson himself and causes confusion with 'Wilson's disease' which is a recognised illness. At the time I read all his documentation there was no evidence supplied to back up his theory. The theory may have changed over time!
This is dangerous advice. Many years ago, when I was working for a medical diagnostics firm, we received news that someone had been using T3 for exactly the reason you describe and had died. My firm supplied the diagnostic tests which accompanied her death, and we were told, on immediate dismissal if ignored, not to enter into any discussion as to whether the tests were implicated or not. They were not, because all they measured was what the lady had taken, not an encouragement to do it. But nevertheless there were discreet inquiries to clarify our position and to warn.
