Yes, if under medicated

Low vitamin levels extremely common too, especially iron/ferritin can cause breathlessness and feeling of air hunger

How much levothyroxine are you currently taking

Do you always get same brand levothyroxine at each prescription

Many people find different brands are not interchangeable

What vitamin supplements are you currently

For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested.

Very important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 at least once year minimum

Low vitamin levels are extremely common, especially with autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto’s or Ord’s thyroiditis) or after Graves’ disease and RAI

Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)

Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or all relevant vitamins

I have a problem with my oxygen levels. I only found this out recently when I purchased a finger oxygen meter and used it for the first time after suffering with a variety of symptoms including feeling faint and falling asleep suddenly during the day. My levels can fall as low as 84 and the alarm bleeps. I don't know if this is a hypothyroidism symptom.

Hi did you find out what was causing your low oxygen levels?

Yes I did, it was a reaction/ intolerance to Levothyroxine tablets which I developed. Once I switched to Levothyroxine oral solution this and many other symptoms disappeared.
