How long should I wait before checking thyroid labs?

I started an antidepressant one month ago. I think it's affecting the absorption of my thyroid meds. How long should I wait to check thyroid labs?

What does the patient leaflet say about the anti-d? Sometimes it says it will be x weeks until you notice the effects.I would test after the x weeks so the anti-d has had its full effect.

Hi there. I too take an antidepressant. I find it best to take my Levo/Lio first thing in the morning, my 2nd Lio at about 5pm and my antidepressant later on in the evening. That works for me.Lalatoot is right in saying that the beneficial effects of antidepressants can take a few weeks to be felt.
