I have a lot of food allergies especially stuff with artificial additives and perservatives, with that in mind, what are the best natural suppliments that you have found to be effective for your thyroid health? My mum and aunt have osteoporosis and I've started shrinking already lol. I have spoken to my GP about this before, but they don't seem to be concerned. I do take a cal-mag suppliment but if there are better ones out there. I'd love to know, I've just added to my amazon cart nutravita Organic Turmeric 1440mg (High Strength) with Black Pepper & Ginger -for my inflamation as per Jonathans suggested. I'm already taking a good vitamin D.

There is no good "thyroid supplement". Thyroid supplements tend to contain iodine and we don't need that unless we have tested and found to be deficient in it. We suggest testing key nutrients and supplement at the appropriate dose where necessary, these being Vit D, B12, Folate and Ferritin. Obviously if you have a need for other supplements beyond these then that's fine.

Are you taking this as a precaution due to the osteoporosis history? If so I'd suggest doing some research, maybe start with Dr Sarah Myhill's website, she has good information about Vit D, magnesium and Vit K being more important for bone health than calcium:

As you are taking Vit D are you already taking magnesium and Vit K2-MK7 which are important cofactors needed with Vit D?
