Greetings to you all. What suppliment can I take to boast up my TSH LEVEL. . RECENT RESULTS SERUM TSH LEVEL SP1 ABNORMAL F2F 0.04 MUL NORMAL 0.27 T0 4.20MUL. So my TSH LEVEL IS TOO LOW
Your TSH level is not too low. It is the level your pituitary has decided you need - presumably because your thyroid hormone levels are good. And, if your thyroid hormone levels are good, you do not need TSH - which is why the pituitary stops producing it. This is something doctors seem incapable of getting their heads round.
The only way to raise your TSH would be to lower your thyroid hormone levels. And, I'm sure you do not want to do that! There is no supplement you can take to raise your TSH. And why would there be when you don't need it higher?

TSH alone is not a good indicator of thyroid status. We need to see TSH, FT4 and FT3 all tested at the same time. If your FT3 is over range it might indicate that you need to lower your dose of Levo. It can't be decided on TSH result only.
You are right. Have change my levo. Dose from 200 to 175. Have done a new test today and may have to change the dosage to 150.
Does your new test include all 3 - TSH, FT4 and FT3?
Will do as recommended.
Remember to leave 6-8 weeks after a dose change before retesting as it can take that long for hormone levels to stabilise.
Will do. 2 months as said by my doctor as well. Thanks
On Levothyroxine it's very common for TSH to become suppressed. It's largely irrelevant
Most important results are FT3 and FT4
What were your FT4 and FT3 results and ranges on 200mcg ?
And same question.....for 175mcg ...once you get results
All that often happens is as dose of Levothyroxine reduced and FT4 and FT3 drop too low then vitamin levels drop and TSH can become more suppressed
Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water .
Last dose of Levothyroxine 24 hours prior to blood test. (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw).
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, best not mentioned to GP or phlebotomist)
Just testing TSH or TSH and FT4 is completely inadequate
For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 tested . Also EXTREMELY important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
Low vitamin D is extremely common if you have darker skin
Will Test TSH, FT4 AND FT3 IN MY NEXT BLOOD TEST
Ask GP to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 now
Will do. Have never asked
New NHS England Liothyronine (T3) guidelines July 2019 clearly state on page 13 that TSH should be between 0.4-1.5 when treated with just Levothyroxine
Note that it says test should be in morning BEFORE taking Levo thyroxine
Also to test vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin

What were your FT4 and FT3 results and ranges on 200mcg ?
You are legally entitled to printed copies of your blood test results and ranges.
UK GP practices are supposed to offer online access for blood test results. Ring and ask if this is available and apply to do so if possible, if it is you may need "enhanced access" to see blood results.
In reality many GP surgeries do not have blood test results online yet
Alternatively ring receptionist and request printed copies of results. Allow couple of days and then go and pick up.
