NHS delays

I ordered a repeat prescription on line on the 16th December. The GP took a while to agree it, and then came the holidays... Chemist finally delivered it yesterday. I was told I could manage without the HRT for "a few days".

I went for a blood test for Cortisol especially early as it has to be done before 9 apparently. Other tests were run too. I had the results back but no Cortisol. GP had forgotten to put it down on the form.

I ordered some NDT on the 27th Dec from Thailand. It came two days ago. At least someone can be efficient!

Off to go and feed the cattle in the biting wind and slush while I am still having hot flushes!

serenfach,

Oh poor you, that is dreadful care. As if we didn't have enough to put up with, but at least the hot flushes will keep you warm in these cold temps!

"GP had forgotten to put it down on the form" Mmn, some of them aren't very good at multi-tasking.........in one ear, and out the other, and in these incredibly short phone conversations that we now have as consultations................

I am always too cold, but I don't envy you the hot flushes at all, even though I'm sitting with the heating on, with sheepskin slippers, wool socks, fingerless gloves and a hot water bottle. Roll on spring. 😊
