Booster jab and carbimazole

Hi guys hope everyone had a great Christmas, has any one had the booster jab while taking carbimazol as I'm worried about having mine while I'm on this medication, I'm on a low dose of 10 my a day ?? Input would be great please , thank you x

Hello there, I have been taking 40mg carbimazole per day as part of block and replace for my graves disease since 2018.I have had all my covid jabs and my booster and a flu jab and had no problems, apart from normal side effects which are mentioned .Hope this reassures you.I'm more worried about how covid would affect me if I caught it.

Hi I have Graves and I'm on carbimazole , I've had both jabs plus booster and no problems.

Hi...I'm on 10mg of Carbimazole and have now had 3 doses of Pfizer(including my booster) ..and have had no side effects whatsoever..I have friends who are on no medication and have had side effects,so dont worry..Go for your booster asap!D.x

i am in 20mg Carbimazole and Propanolol and have had no problems other than an achey arm for two days. i had the Pfizer booster and AZ for the t first two vaccines x

Hi there, I'm currently taking Carbimazole daily 5mg and 10mg alternately. I have received all of my jabs, A.Z for first two , Pfizer for booster in addition to flu jab all without any side effects.My Endo also strongly recommended the booster jab although I didn't need any persuading! I would be more concerned about the effects of Covid if I hadn't received it . Hopefully you will be reassured by everyone's positive comments and decide to go for it!

I am also on Carbimazole 5mg and had my booster jab in November. I have been fine.
