Dizziness and nausea

Hello all,

I finished work for annual leave on Friday and since Sunday I've been dizzy and nauseated. Had to spend all day yesterday on the sofa napping. This is not the first time this has happened; I've noticed it happens after a period of stress or more specifically, when I relax after the stressful thing.

Work has been relentless lately and I've been undermedicated for about a month. I've had a dose increase now so that will help eventually.

Could this be my adrenals? Is there anything I could do in the short term to help bolster them a bit? I don't want to spend Christmas on the sofa feeling sick!

Hi Witchinghour,

I'm not sure why you've not had any replies to your post?

Unfortunately I have a similar problem but I'm not able to offer you any advice as I'm unmedicated and don't have a diagnosis yet. Most days I do feel nauseous and dizzy to the point where I have to lie down until it passes which can take a few hours.

It is difficult to explain to others as they just seem to think I'm being lazy and feel like a nap but that couldn't be further from the truth.

Hopefully you'll get a response from someone that knows about adrenal issues.

Best wishes.

Thank you. :)

It's been a struggle the last few days but I've started drinking the 'adrenal support cocktail' 2 or 3 times a day and it's been really helpful.

That's good that you've found something to ease your symptoms.

I think I'll have to try that see if it makes any difference to me as sometimes the nausea can last quite a while and I virtually lose a whole day sleeping on the sofa. I'll google 'adrenal support cocktails'.

Best wishes.

Hi, What is the adrenal support cocktail as I'm experiencing this nausea and dizziness often too.

Regards

Al

It's 1/3 orange juice, 2/3 coconut water and a pinch if salt.

I find it really very helpful when I'm stressed. It helps mitigate the dizziness. :)
