Apparently not. My daughter in law works in pharmaceutical but she has only managed to get me 90 ,25 mg tablets. She finds it very hard to get anything without a prescription.

You seem to be trying to reply to joydot but it is just luck whether she will see it.

You need to do a reply to her post (or a response) or call out.

I had written out a reply & phone froze. All gone. Problems with ALL my apple stuff. So over it. None of it coordinates properly. Design awards indeed. In my current state it makes me furious. Ive been living off cortisol for 12+ weeks now…

I cannot understand the palaver in uk around t3. So amateur. Defies belief. Thanks to recommendations i was able to source some but have a further 10 day wait. Thanks to additional drama of pandemic It’s not clear i will survive it, I’m well into myxedema coma later stage. If i get covid I’m done. The fact i have yet to receive appt letter suggests its not happening until after new year. I am struggling with the reality that by my own decision to move here i am many hours away from competent medical care & have no options - not what patient reviews said when i researched this move online. I am so angry. We need to shine a light on the real nhs not the fantasy one of heroic healthcare providers struggling in the face of equally incompetent government.

In case my luck runs out I am setting out my legals as a ‘murder in slow motion’ - a legal definition used in abuse cases. The deliberate defiance, contempt & abuse of patients by people with ‘professional credentials’ in the uk thyroid/ hashis community is devastating. It has to stop. I have every single symptom. Every one. There is no defence. At 45 it was less concerning than at 55. It’s bizarre that a diabetic who puts on 100lb has every possibility thrown at them but a thyroid patient is expected to ignore 100+ fluid + the inevitable carnage it creates.

Prior to restarting t3 i would like to take cortisol spit test (3 or 4 x in 24 hours one). Can anyone recommend best option - it will be legally scrutinised so cant be some retarded service run out of the back of a pub by some friend of the health minister.

I arrived back 5 years ago in excellent health, from the get-go every call by nhs has been the wrong one. I am tired of the excuses, done with the arrogance. Without this group i would not be here, the 18 months on thiroyd was a life saver. I know i sound angry (i am but living off cortisol adds to it) but I’m very grateful to everyone here. Even off my head! will keep you posted on legals. Fingers crossed something useful comes of it.

The best test is one that measures both cortisol plus DHEA and has proper reference intervals.

Look at Regenerus and Genova Diagnostics, links and information here:

thyroiduk.org/help-and-supp...

Regenerus email you direct when results are available. It's the company that I use.

Genova send results to ThyroidUK who release the to you upon receipt of your consent.
