Booster ok to have with a cold?
Hi the advice is if you only have mild symptoms like a runny nose then you're good to go. Might be an idea to do a lateral flow test, just to be on the safe side. But if you're feeling unwell, temperature etc then it's advised to delay jabs until you are feeling better.
I delayed mine when I had a cold - why strain your body more than you need to? Other people at the surgery won't appreciate it if they catch your cold.
Why not ask a medical professional like your doctor? People here are not medically qualified and really cannot give you an answer. If it was me I wouldn't have it, but someone else might say go ahead. If you take the advice of someone who says go ahead then you have a really bad reaction, are you going to wish you'd never listened to them or even blame them for bad advice? I think too little is known about these new vaccines for anyone to be able to give advice.
I had mine 3 or 4 weeks ago and my friend was due hers the same day. She was suffering from this "super cold" at the time and was advised not to have the booster and to rearrange it for when she was over it.
