Poll: AstraZeneca, Levo and weight loss

Just read a post about someone attributing weight loss to being on Levo and being double jabbed with AstraZeneca . I fit into this category and have lost at least 8lbs this year, maybe more.

Just a quick poll to see if anyone else has, or has not had this experience?

There are already three polls regarding Covid vaccination experiences.

If anyone believes they have had loss (or gain) of wieght as a side effect or adverse reaction to a Covid vaccine, I hope they say so on the appropriate polls. And if they have not yet done so, please do!

The problem is that most people are happy to lose weight and will probably never report it. Only those like me, who struggle to maintain it, will have noticed it but again will not think it worth a mention. Now that I recognise that it definitely is a side effect, I shall also report it.

Have any of the responses to effects of the vax, both positive and negative, been collated?

It would be a never-ending task as the polls are still open.

It never seems the right time to close any of them.

But all the information is on the poll threads - just not summed in any way except vote numbers for each option.

penny, 'Have any of the responses to effects of the vax, both positive and negative, been collated?'

As helvella says, the info is visible for all to see and read on the polls in both votes and comments. So I'm interested to hear why you think it should be 'collated'?

Sorry, this was just meant as a quick, casual poll. I’m not attributing my weight loss to AstraZeneca but was very surprised to see that someone had made such a link. I don’t think others will make a link unless they are prompted to consider it. Certainly if people really believe there is a connection with weight loss and AstraZeneca they should report it properly. Perhaps I shouldn’t have used the word ‘poll’, but I just hoped for a few ‘yes’ or ‘no’ replies to see if it’s worth looking at.

Yes - I was really hoping that if anyone has such issues, they would go and add their exepriences to the polls. But that was not meant to imply they shouldn't answer you on your question/poll!

And I hope they would also file Yellow Card reports.

I wish I was like you. I’ve gained another 8lbs , so for me unfortunately no.
