How long did you all have to wait for your blood results from blue horizon. I paid gold standard, they received my bloods on Tuesday just gone, and I’m still waiting. I’ve resorted to drinking red bull to get me through the day 🤦‍♀️

Did you request doctor's comments? This can add an 2-3 days onto the time results are received, depending on how busy they are. Also factor in the weekend, possibly 2 days when the lab doesn't work. So if received last Tuesday then taking out the weekend today is day 4.

I did a BH Gold test a couple of weeks ago on a Monday, my sample was delivered early Tuesday morning (shown by Special Delivery tracking), I requested no doctor's comments and I received my results on Wednesday afternoon.

The turnaround times are clearly stated for each test and are to be used as a GUIDE only and refer to the number of working days (not weekends or Bank Holidays) from sample receipt at the Laboratory to being emailed to ourselves. Please be aware, results can sometimes be received earlier than the guide TAT, likewise, they may also be later, due to circumstances beyond our control such as mechanical breakdown of equipment, human error or transportation issues affecting courier routes, as not all tests will be analysed directly by the Laboratory you are sending your sample to. Results are usually only released by the Laboratory, once all results are available.
